i forgot to tell myself, i’m worthy.

Why I Do What I Do (and Why You Deserve a Photoshoot Too!)

As a wife, daughter, and sister, I know all too well what it feels like to lose yourself in the roles you play for everyone else. I’ve been there—juggling hats, spinning plates, and wondering why I can’t remember the last time I did something for me that didn’t involve a “To Do List”

At 42, I was medically retired from law enforcement and decided, “Why not take the leap and dive headfirst into starting my photography business?” Easy, right? HA. NOPE! The universe had something else in mind, instead of learning all about running a business, I ended up learning more about myself—and wow, it’s been one heck of a ride. Think self-reflection, self-doubt, and journaling.

Here I am, learning and growing, not just with my craft, but with every amazing client I meet.

Now let’s get real for a second. I had been pushing out my photoshoot to celebrate something monumental and

I was missing the message I tell my clients, I’m worthy to be celebrated here and now!

Earlier this year I booked a photoshoot with Tina to capture the me I had become, and let me tell you... I felt empowered. I felt beautiful. Most importantly, I felt proud of who I was, imperfections and all.

Those photos are now a beautiful reminder that my journey is about accepting and loving all of my wrinkles and “flaws,” and honestly? It feels so good.

So now, I’m here for you. Whether you’re a mom, a wife, or someone who’s lost track of who you really are in the chaos of everyday life, I’m here to remind you that you deserve to be celebrated. No more suppressing that incredible woman inside! Let’s capture her in all her glorious, fabulous, real beauty. Let’s show the world (and maybe yourself) how amazing you are.

Ready to celebrate YOU? Let’s book that session and make magic happen. ✨📸 And don’t worry, I promise there’s no awkward posing—just lots of laughs and maybe a little Beyoncé playlist for good measure.
