Celebrating Motherhood in All Its Forms — Even If You’re Not a Mom

Mother’s Day can stir up so many emotions

Joy, Gratitude, Nostalgia, even Grief. And if you're not a mom in the traditional sense, it can feel like this holiday just isn’t meant for you.

But I’m here to tell you: it absolutely is!

I’m not a biological mother.

But I’m a proud dog mom, a very loved tia, and a woman who was raised by the most incredible momma — and surrounded by strong, nurturing women who poured love into me in the most beautiful ways.

And that is motherhood.

Motherhood is more than giving birth.

It’s loving fiercely. It’s showing up. It’s being the one people call when life gets hard — or when they just need a hug, a pep talk, or a hot plate of food. It’s the way you love your dog like your own child, the way you lift up your nieces, nephews, godchildren, and chosen family.

This year, I’m honoring all forms of motherhood in my studio.

Whether you’re:

  • A woman who never had kids (by choice or by circumstance) but pours love into everyone around her,

  • A badass tia holding it down as the family’s MVP,

  • A proud dog mom who knows your fur baby saved you just as much as you saved them,

  • Or someone honoring the mother figures who shaped your life…

You deserve to be seen, celebrated, and photographed.

My Mother’s Day Portrait Sessions are now open — and they’re about more than just pretty pictures. They’re about claiming your space in this celebration. About honoring the love you give. About creating something that says, I matter too.

Let’s make something beautiful together.
